The first born to an odd and eccentric couple; I came into the world on a hot Summer afternoon in San Diego, CA on July 22, 1988.

My Mother was the first person in her family to be born in America and due mainly to her I have a deep love of my predominantly German ancestry. I grew up being read to from books such as Struwwelpeter and told stories that my Mother said she learned from her parents and grandmother.

I still really enjoy various folklore, myths, legends and the like. Even "The Well and Spindle" received its name from a story connected to my beloved Frau Holle (Holda/Hulle/etc).

Family means a lot to me and I would be where I am without them. My sisters Paige (17) and Alexandra (7 and pictured right) are the highlight of my life, though they are quite unlike (yet sometimes very much alike!) each other.

When not working online or making magical goodies for "The Well and Spindle" I can be caught full of dirt in my garden or reading one book after the other. Writing poetry, practicing Witchcraft and Folk Magic are among my other "pastimes".
